Coding Clubs for 7-13 Year Olds

12 Week FREE Coding Programme

Our 12 week coding programme is aimed at children looking to learn to code and available from ages of 7 through to 13 years.

The course assumes that the children have no prior knowledge of coding, and we will take them through a journey over the period to introduce them to the various types of coding practices.

The schedule will be free, and then after the 12 weeks, will move to a paid lessons every fortnight to build upon what they have learnt. There is no obligation to continue with the paid lessons.

The lessons will be taught in a virtual classroom with approx 6-8 students per session, and all materials will be provided to you ahead of the lesson starting.

We will also set some tasks for the children to continue their learning in their own time if they wish too as well.

Read our blog post on why we think it’s important that children should learn to code from an early age!

What do the 12 weeks look like?

We will work at each others pace and each lessons will last about 1 hour with time at the end for any questions from the students or parents.

Lesson material will be available for each student before the lessons and any content we make during the lessons will be made available afterwards as well, so they can build up a portfolio as they learn.

There is no strict format or schedule that we will follow; we progress together as one team!

Saying that….  we do need something to follow!        So an example schedule is shown.

Students are encouraged to ask as many questions as they like, and we will always make time at the end of the lessons for questions as well.

The more students are engaged in the lessons, the more they will learn, and I do encourage that they interact and communicate as much as they can (also hearing my voice can become somewhat tedious!)
