Hi, my name is Sashorna (most people call me Sash) and I am extremely excited to be starting my Shropshire Tutoring journey!

I am currently a secondary English teacher at a school in Dudley.

Despite being in the early stages of my teaching career, I have acquired a commendable reputation for providing nothing but high-quality teaching, support and guidance in my subject and going above and beyond for those who I teach.

I not only have endless enthusiasm for English, I have a genuine passion in achieving success for my learners. I pride myself on being able to scaffold, support and stretch my learners to reach their full potential in English.

My students academic and personal wellbeing are my priority and therefore I ensure my lessons are spent meeting the needs of my learners regardless of ability. Being the patient, passionate and hard- working individual I am, I am confident I will meet these needs for you.

Additionally, I believe in creating a positive learning environment through praise and communication by taking the time to celebrate you as a person as well as a student.

Although I currently teach Year 7 to Year 11, I have acquired four years of tutoring experience working with students as young as four to students as old as 17 re-sitting their GCSEs.

This has provided me the opportunity to push myself and my teaching ability to suit the age, needs and goals of many. 1-2-1 tutoring allows me to adapt my teaching style and create a range of resources that is beneficial to enhancing your strengths and overcoming your weaknesses.
