I have a passion for learning.

I believe that every child deserves the opportunity and support to learn and achieve to the best of their ability, and that every child should have the right to access an excellent education.

I am a teacher based in Newport, Shropshire.

I have worked in education for over 20 years, with 16 of those years teaching across the primary phase in schools within Telford & Wrekin.

I love the breadth of the National Curriculum and enjoy teaching all subjects. I take particular pleasure in designing fun and interactive ways of learning and am particularly skilled in identifying any existing gaps in children’s knowledge and understanding. I have a calm and nurturing style and believe that at the heart of excellent learning outcomes for children, lies a positive relationship between the student and teacher.

I am also a fully qualified yoga teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga and teach classes locally around Shropshire and Staffordshire.
