We are looking for new tutors to join our existing team of 9 to provide excellent service to our students.
We are looking for individuals that poses the following qualities:
Subject Matter Expertise
- Excellent knowledge of the subject matter and curriculum
- Ability to teach niche subjects like test prep for SAT, LSAT, etc
Adaptable & Flexible
- Adjust teaching style based on each student’s needs and learning style
- Be open to changing teaching methods, providing printed notes, more examples, etc. as needed
- Flexible with scheduling to accommodate students’ needs
Communication Skills
- Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and present material in an understandable way
- Use of ample examples, patience, optimal gestures, correct pronunciation
Patience & Empathy
- Demonstrate patience when students struggle or need repetition
- Empathise with students, listen actively, and build trust
- Be open to providing emotional support if needed
